The Sponsor a Child Program is GUCM’s flagship initiative to connect caring sponsors with vulnerable children who lack access to basic education, healthcare, and mentorship. Through this program, sponsors directly contribute to a child’s learning, well-being, and personal development, while building a long-term, meaningful relationship.
🎯 Objective
To provide children in need with consistent, holistic support — enabling them to stay in school, receive proper care, and grow up with hope, dignity, and opportunity.
👧 Who It Supports
- Children orphaned, displaced, or abandoned
- Children living in deep poverty or high-risk areas
- Refugee or conflict-affected children
- Children in institutional care, rural schools, or slums
- Girls at risk of early marriage or educational exclusion
💝 What Sponsorship Provides
Depending on the country or child’s situation, your monthly or annual support may include:
- 📚 School tuition and supplies
- 🩺 Basic healthcare or medical support
- 🥣 Daily meals or nutrition kits
- 🧑🏫 Mentorship, emotional support, and life skills
- 🏠 Hygiene supplies or safe shelter (if required)
- 📬 Letters, updates, and reports from the child or guardian
