The Bible teaches that God created Adam in His image and likeness.
When God spoke to Moses, He introduced Himself as “I AM.” (Ex. 3:14)
The divine is perfect Self-Realization. God experiences Self-Realization by expressing His Mind through sound vibrations- also known as “The Word.”
The whole of this expression of God’s Infinite Mind is known as THE LOGOS OF GOD. The Logos is like a fish bowl in whom all things live, move and have their being- whether visible or invisible and in all dimensions of existence.
The “body” of this Logos is made up of sentient consciences of different gradations. The Human species is the lowest of all divine entities, who have their being between the divine nature and the bestial.
Although God created you for the intimate purpose of mutual self-realization, He desires to do this only with the willing- and these who are constrained by the chords of the heart.
Isaiah 43:7 KJV- Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
God created man in order to compliment Him in the lowest mode of divine existence, and to reflect who He is even in the micro-cosmic genom of the human species. (Eph. 1:23)
Although in the divine Mind we have already arrived and returned to Godhead (Jn. 14:6; Col. 3:3; 1Cor. 15:24-28) we cannot circumvent the process of becoming the fully realized individuals that we are meant to be.
Those who willfully stand before the Supreme as contributors towards God’s own Self-Realization will infinitely bask in God’s light as they reflect His Attributes forever.
The process of divine self-realization requires two things:
- To reflect God’s good qualities by means of a pious life which includes: submission, praise, worship and virtuous acts towards our neighbor.
- To accept the fact that we cannot save ourselves from God’s mode of destruction because of the weight and effect of our sins- and that from them we need Salvation.
You were created so that with the LOGOS you could live as the One Image of God- reflecting His glory and basking in His love.
This love for the lowest of God’s divine children has made Him to sit humankind upon His own throne- making the last, first.
You were created to be ONE with the LOGOS of God.
And God was the Logos. (Jn. 1:1 Greek)
Your purpose is to be ONE with the Supreme. (Jn. 17: 20-23)
