Me and HoneyJohn 17:3 (KJV)- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

When Systematic Theologians make the proposition that God cannot be “comprehensibly” known, they make a huge mistake.

The mistake stems from the scholastic obsession with quantifying and cataloging God. Since God is un-quantifiable and un-explainable through human words and concepts- in other words, since God is all transcendent, their methodology of study falls short from the Truth that is God.

In the Christian Church of today- nothing is more highly honored than a tall miter and/or the 3 stripes of a “Doctor” on a sleeve.

But Christianity was absolutely NOT based upon or transmitted through scholasticism. The Gospel was transmitted through the Kerygma and the Didache. (The Proclamation and the Teaching.) And these, were passed down by disciplic succession.

Since Christianity is at its core a disciplic religion, then one can take the stand on the obvious: that the theses that have added to the actual teachings of the Church,  are actually FOREIGN elements that have mingled with the Gospel. This means, that all 40,000 Christian denominations stand accursed in the eyes of God, Christ, His disciples and their disciples. (Gal. 1:8)

Lord Jesus taught His disciples to forsake tomorrow and to focus on living fully each day. (Matthew 6:33-34)

This means- that if I know God- and I know Him today- then whatever it is that I know ABOUT GOD, is SUFFICIENT for the Day. In other words, if what I know about God leads me to seek Him, that I will find Him…

If you are fully saved in Lord Jesus, then you fully know God. If you feel far from God or as if you do not “know” Him, then its because you’re distracted with the things of this world…like trying to prove your thesis. (Romans 14:5)

Love God and neighbor and you’ll make it to the temporary abodes of Heaven- but you’ll still have to wait to see God. (John 14, Lk. 10:28)

Love God through Jesus Christ, and you will make it straight to the Father’s heart- and be COMPREHENSIBLY SAVED!
