Isaiah 58:9 (ESV) Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
All ancient spiritual sciences agree that God is both transcendent and immanent.
It can be argued that experiencing God is completely a subjective experience- on the other hand, since all human beings are equal in the sight of God, ALL can experience Him by learning how to become increasingly aware of His presence.
The easiest way to train the mind and heart to perceive God’s being, is simply by praying or chanting the NAMES of God.
There are many spiritual methods through which one can attain an experiential knowledge of God, but the easiest and most effective way is simply by meditating on His NAMES.
As images and likenesses of God who were created by His Word, we can increasingly create the experience of God by invoking His Name.
No, we do not “create God” in the sense of creating His eternal essence, but when we call out to His Name, we “create” a sound frequency through which we can increasingly perceive the presence of God through the sound vibrations that are emanating from the most inner parts of our being.
When we chant (pray) the Names of God, we take our focus away from the material world and pay attention to the ever-permeating presence of God in whom we live, and move, and have our being.
2 Cor. 4:18- So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Just as God loved and knew us from eternity but created us in space and time through sound vibration, so in like manner we increasingly “create” or perceive the presence of God through the sound vibration that comes out of our mouths.
All spiritual sciences agree that those who call on the Names of God the least, are least cognizant of God; but those who call on His Name the most, become the most God- conscious.
Everyone who calls on the NAME of Yehovah shall be saved. (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13)
Anyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will experience the immanence of the all-transcendent and ungraspable God. And that my friend, is the sweetest spiritual experience of all.
