Psalms 91:14-16: “Because he loves Me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My NAME. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my YESHUA (Salvation).
When I was 12 years old, I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. When I returned to bed, I suddenly fell in a trance.
My state of consciousness changed…I was conscious of my body, but I also knew that I transcended it.
At that time I became conscious of “higher communication” descending into my mother’s bedroom like a beam of energy. This was not a conversation- my mother never said anything. All I heard was a stream-like vibration that seemed to be an encoded personal message from above.
When the vibration ceased, I suddenly felt the “higher consciousness” turning its attention towards me. When it did, I suddenly became conscious of a bright white and distant source of light shining through dense darkness. An all-encompassing voice in Spanish resounded from every direction with the following words:
TU TIENES QUE VOLVER A MI PORQUE TU ERES MIO! TU ESTAS LEJOS DE MI!
(You must return to me because you are Mine! You are far from Me!)
While the multi-directional voice continued to echo the same message over, and over and over again… the source of light seemed to come closer and closer.
Then suddenly, the vision of the light took the form of a luminescent man kneeling upright in a posture of prayer. When it came close to me, I lost consciousness.
I have struggled for decades trying to understand the full meaning of this vision.
For many years I understood that the voice was calling me to repentance, since the Bible uses the term “return to me” as a call from God to turn from sin and rebellion. (Zech. 1:3)
The call to “return” to God did not make sense until I heard for the first time a spiritual teacher use the term: “Return To Godhead.”
This teacher was A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON, known as the Hare Krishnas). Although I readily recognized that Prabhupad’s line of teaching was different from the line of my Master, I found that the essence of his message pierced my heart to the soul and forever etched itself in my spirit.
Since then, the synchronicity of events that have surrounded me for the last few years have taught me that God is not found in the babble of theologians but ONLY in wholehearted devotion to God’s NAME.
The sermon of St. Paul on Mars Hill (Acts 17) says that God allotted to each culture and time particular aspects of the divine. The Christianity of Lord Jesus was not established to be a new religion that stands antithetically to the other ancient forms of monotheism.
On the contrary… Lord Jesus delivered the particular message that “the worshipers that God seeks, are those who worship Him in spirit and truth..” (John 4) Christians are “new witnesses” and ambassadors of Good News, not the deliverers of division and discord.
Authentic Christianity is not a religion that stands contrary to Vaishnavism. Both Vaishnavism and authentic Christianity have in common the experience of transcending the shedding of innocent blood, in order to satisfy the demigods…or to receive forgiveness from God for the sake of physical benefits (rain, crops, health, wealth, etc.).
By taking upon himself the sins of the whole world, Lord Jesus became the easiest Way to go back to Godhead. Simple devotion to his teachings will lead us back to the Father and bring us back to his own heavenly abode. (John 14)
Like Lord Jesus taught us, God the Father desires to be loved with wholehearted devotion. This is what God has been asking from us since the beginning of time, simply to love Him through everything we say or do.
The Sanskrit word “Bhakti” refers to that wholehearted devotion to the God Most High that is all encompassing and part of every aspect of our lives. This is what Deuteronomy 6:4-5 is saying for THOUSANDS of years…
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned me to share externally with others the flame of absolute devotion to The God Most High and The NAME of YESHUA.
We call upon the NAME of YESHUA because we recognize that none of the 40,000 denominations of the Christian Church have the solution that can unite the us. Every denomination seeks after its own benefit, rather than the benefit of the whole body of Christ.
We call upon the NAME of YESHUA because the body of Christ is in need of SALVATION.
We call upon the NAME of YESHUA because our prideful divisions stand contrary to the Lord’s command to love one another as He has loved us. (John 13:35)
We call upon the NAME of YESHUA to save us from the wolves that serve as “bishops, overseers and guardians” of our shameful divisions.
We call upon the NAME of YESHUA because our Master wants to Heal and Save the world, but first His body must be Healed and Saved. So we cry out with our whole heart:
ALLELUIA ALLELUIA YESHUA ALLELUYA! YESHUA YESHUA ALLELUIA ALLELUIA!
